Update from v 8.0.1

    Divi Ultimate Child Theme

    Hey there,

    i have Version 8.0.1 installed and just noticed that i can not update automatically via WordPress.

    So i just have the question if you have a guide to update to the newest version. At installation guide it says that it should work automatically. but how to upgrade to the newest version if theres no update at WP backend available?

    For that case:

    1. Go to https://divi.help/threads/divi-ultimate-v8-1-13.9695/
    2. Download the attached file (Divi-Ultimate-Plugin.zip)
    3. Go to Plugins -> Installed Plugins -> Deactivate & Delete Divi Ultimate Plugin
    4. Go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin -> Upload the Divi-Ultimate-Plugin.zip that you just downloaded.
    5. Activate the plugin & you're done.

    I just saw, that the Divi Ultimate PlugIn is on Version 8.1.13 - so this is the newest version. so with this plugin everything is up to date even the childtheme shows 8.0.1 ?

    The child theme is just an empty child theme for you to add your custom coding. All our child theme coding are added through the Divi Ultimate assistant plugin, so that it won't affect your core file custom coding.

    In short, you just need the assistant plugin to be on latest version. You can ignore the child theme version.
