Updating Divi

    Obviously new to Divi based on this question, but I created and am using a Divi Child theme in an old version of Divi. Will updating Divi to new version cause me to lose any of my customizations.

    It won't directly overwrite / delete the customizations in your child theme - the child theme will be untouched. However, it's possible that Divi will have made changes that stop your customizations working or potentially cause your customizations to generate errors that might, in the worst case, crash the site. It's not that likely that this will happen, but it is a possibility.

    My advice would be to either test the update on a staging site, or take a backup of the site before updating Divi. Then update Divi, and test to ensure that everything is working how you expect. If any of your customizations break, post the details on this forum and hopefully someone will be able to help you get them updated to work with the latest Divi.
