Solved upgrading from v7.0.1 to v8.0.0

    I downloaded v8.0.0 DU plugin and uploaded to wp-admin. (see pic.) But DU Theme is still v7.0.1, not v8.0.0? (see pic.) Separately, DU Header Plugin I have is 2.0...If I use DU theme and plugin, do I need at all DU Header plugin? Please clarify so I understand once and for all, thanks.

    That's fine. As long as the Divi Ultimate Plugin is on the latest version, then you're good to go. You can ignore the child theme version.
    If you're using DU theme & plugin, you don't need to install DU Header Plugin.

    Additional Info:
    - If your site is still running an older version smoothly, then you can choose not to update it.
    - It's totally optional for you to update it, unless you wish to access those new features.
