uploading photos to website

    I am unable to upload photos to my website. This is the message i am receiving which i do not understand.

    Unable to create directory uploads/2024/09. Is its parent directory writable by the server? Can someone help please.

    Hi Chris,

    The error suggests that the server doesn't have the necessary permissions to create new directories for your uploads.

    Make sure the `uploads` directory and its parent directories have the correct permissions set (usually 755), which allow the server to write into them. If you're unsure about how to change permissions, your host should be able to help you set the correct permissions and file ownership.
