Youtube Shorts Video also 16:9

Hello,
i have the same video and want to impement the standard 16:9 version in tablet and desktop - and we also ave a "shorts" version 9:16 - that one i want to present the users on smartphone.

Basicly - what is the best solution for implementing different videos?

In my forst test, i added a video module, added the link for the 16:9 in the video field (adding link by url). Then by klick on the appearing icon i see the three options (like tabs) ... and i moved to the last tab for smartphone, deletet that link and added new.

I thought, this could work.
But it did not.

So i used the 16:9 video and set in the detailed setting, it should not appear in smartphone view.

Now i added another video module - and implemented the 9:16 video (Short) and set that this should not appear in tablet and desktop view.

Basically that works - but is this the solution (in case o the ability to set the appearnace in the different dimensions inside one video module?

However ... i see the correct different videos now - but on smartphone i siee it in standard vie with the black areas left and right - as would it be a 16:9 video ... but in youtube as a short, it will be correctly a "vertical" video.
